Understanding Calls to Action

Add calls to action (CTAs) to your hubs or collections to try and motivate your audience to act!

Say you've created a hub dedicated to modern furniture with two overarching goals: to gather emails for a new weekly newsletter on rising designers, and to direct traffic towards a partner e-commerce site. 

You can easily create and add two CTAs:

  1. One CTA with a simple form to gather customer information that is only accessible in a collection named "Designers."
  2. One CTA with a compelling graphic for sale items. This is made available in all collections within your hub, linking visitors to an external site where the item is being sold.

Using calls to actions can be a tricky business! Trying not to overwhelm your audience and making your CTAs look cohesive with the rest of your hub is only two of many considerations. Don't fret though - we're going to go through everything you need to know below!

Call to Action Sizes

Depending on how much you want to emphasis your CTA, and how you want your hub to look, you can vary the size of the CTAs accordingly!

We've provided you with seven options:

  • 300px x 250px
  • 300px x 50px*
  • 320px x 50px*
  • 300px x 300px
  • 300px x 600px
  • 728px x 90px
  • Fullscreen

Any size marked with an asterisk (*) denotes CTAs that are only displayed when viewed using a smartphone.

Call to Action Types

There are three formats that you can use to create the graphics and functionalities of your calls to action.

  • Image Link
  • External URL 
  • Custom HTML
